WAYNE BELL, CEO OF DIGITAL IMAGE FX INC. APPOINTED DELEGATE TO G7 SPECIAL PROJECT IN TELEMEDICINE
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia - October 14, 1998
After the Brussels summit in 1995, the governments of the G7 countries started the "Global Health Care Applications Project". From this a number of working groups in different subprojects (SP) were established, which included SP-4 concentrating on "International Concerted Action on Collaboration in Telemedicine".
Wayne Bell, CEO of Digital Image FX Incorporated, of Dartmouth Nova Scotia has been chosen to be one of the eight official G7 SP-4 Canadian delegates to attend the November meeting being held in Regensburg, Germany. The conference will have a series of presentations and discussion groups that will focus on "The Impact of Telemedicine on Health Care Networks" by relating each member country's expertise and experiences. Mr. Bell will be discussing Digital Image's "ARTIC LAB" as being a U.S. Military test site for satellite communications dealing with the area of Telemedicine.
